What we liked
- + Five-stage filtration with floss, carbon, a Bio-Holster and a Bio-Media grid.
- + Self-priming pump restarts after a power interruption.
- + NoDrip cartridge design is described as reducing mess, and it works with freshwater and saltwater.
Trade-offs
- - Rated up to 30 gallons, so it is smaller than the QuietFlow 50 it replaces.
- - Replacement cartridges and specialty pads are bought separately.
