What we liked
- + The 14-Ounce bag is the most economical Acurel size for frequent changes
- + Enough fiber to supply several tanks or a large sump for months
- + Pure polyester floss does not leach dyes or additives into the water
Trade-offs
- - Bulky bag takes up storage space for a single small tank owner
- - Loose fiber is less tidy to use than pre-cut pads
