What we liked
- + Built-in filter runs at 25 gallons per hour and takes Koller Products XS replacement cartridges
- + LED offers daylight white, warm white, blue and blue-white, with a 2, 4 or 8 hour timer that repeats daily
- + Filtration is listed at under 35 dB, and the tank is impact-resistant plastic with a crystal-clear finish
Trade-offs
- - The tank is plastic, not glass, which some aquascapers avoid for a long-term planted display
- - Timer tops out at 8 hours and the listing gives no light output figures, so it suits undemanding plants at most
