What we liked
- + Timer modes of 8, 12 or 24 hours plus a manual feed button cover routine and away-from-home feeding.
- + Runs on two AA batteries or a USB cable (6.6 ft cable included), and both can be used together as a backup.
- + Mounts on the tank edge or on a hood with a funnel base, and an adjusting cap sets the portion for flakes or pellets.
Trade-offs
- - Batteries are not included, so you need two AA cells unless you plug in the USB cable.
- - Interval modes only, with no clock-time scheduling, so feedings are not tied to a set time of day.
