What we liked
- + Max flow of 225 GPH and 8.2 W power, sized for 40 to 70 gallon tanks.
- + Three sponge blocks: coarse, carbonized and fine.
- + Air venturi and tubing add oxygen, and a dual outlet spreads flow.
Trade-offs
- - Listing recommends two filters if the tank is very large.
- - Sold as a filter for turtle tanks as well, so it is a general-purpose unit, not a planted-tank design.
