What we liked
- + Listing states ultra-low iron glass for clear viewing, which suits a planted scape where fish and plant color matter.
- + 45 degree beveled, rimless edges bonded with clear silicone give a clean, frameless look on a stand or shelf.
- + Listing states 5 mm glass panels and includes an insulation pad for the base, so no extra mat is needed to start.
Trade-offs
- - At 20 gallons it is a much larger and costlier tank than the 5 gallon pick it replaces, and needs a sturdier stand.
- - The listing gives few details on lid, filter or lighting, so those must be bought separately.
