What we liked
- + App adjusts light color and water flow, and can schedule lighting cycles that simulate daylight transitions
- + Filter combines physical and biological stages with multiple layers of filter cotton
- + Set includes the aquarium, LED light, filter, water pump and manual in a 4 gallon size
Trade-offs
- - Depends on a phone app for its main adjustments, which adds setup steps compared with a plain switch
- - Listing gives no dimensions, tank material or light wattage, and comes from a lesser-known brand
