What we liked
- + Four built-in modes including a 24/7 cycle of sunrise, midday, sunset and night, with auto on and off
- + 16 LEDs at a listed 6933K color temperature, controlled by the included remote or manually
- + Gooseneck arm adjusts through 360 degrees, so the beam can be aimed at one part of the layout
Trade-offs
- - A single gooseneck spot suits nano tanks, not the even spread a bar light gives across a longer tank
- - The Smart Controller for programmable group control is sold separately, and no PAR figures are listed
