What we liked
- + Mixed set of 15 media shapes for biological filtration, in a 1.1 lb pack.
- + A mesh bag is included, which makes the media easy to load into a filter chamber or sump.
- + Listing says it suits freshwater and saltwater, and it lists rinsing steps before use.
Trade-offs
- - Mixed media types give less clear information than a single named product, and the listing is mostly marketing.
- - 1.1 lb fills only a small chamber, and the brand is little known.
