What we liked
- + The 2.5 gallon glass tank is a reasonable size for one betta and a plant
- + Kit format means core parts are chosen to work together out of the box
- + Glass walls stay clear and are easy to scrape clean of algae
Trade-offs
- - Check exactly which filter and light ship with the kit
- - Store-brand parts may be harder to replace than major aquarium brands
